Mersea Island Rally 2011

The next Mersea Island Rally is on September 2nd - 4th 2011.

The whole weekend costs £20 on the gate (kids under 16 are free), this includes camping and entry into all the evening do's. Alternatively you can buy a bargain weekend advance ticket for just £15, if purchased before 18th August 2011! Car parking costs £5 per day on the gate, however you can purchase an advance two day car parking pass for £5 along with your advance tickets (car parking proceeds go to The Mersea Lions charity). To pay for your tickets in advance, please send a cheque or postal order payable to Colchester DVLC to:

Please note - strictly no entry to do's if you aren't wearing your wristband!!

We have a family camping area and a separate scooter only camping area. Scooters have access to both camping areas. All cars, vans and four wheel vehicles park in a separate car park, it's strictly scooters only on the main campsite. Only cars pulling caravans and campervans are allowed onto the family camping. If you want to sleep in your van/car you will need to do so in the car park! Be warned.....if you arrive in four wheels you will need to carry your gear from the car park to the campsite....please don't moan at gate, we've heard it all before!!!!!

This will be our 19th year running the Mersea Island Scooter Rally, and what started back in 1993 as a local club rally with about 200 folk through the gate, has grown to being one of the major scootering events of the year with over 2500 scooterists partying for the weekend!

Scooterists come from all over the UK, Europe with the odd lost soul from various other corners of the planet.

Mersea Island Scooter Rally is now regarded as one of the best events in the Scootering calendar.
